Terms of service
These terms govern use of reelradarpurepixls.rest. If you do not agree with them, do not use the site. Advisory work we may later agree in writing is a separate contract.
1. The agreement
This website is operated by Reelradarpurepixls Ltd, company number 15102947, registered at Unit 4, 19 Quay Side, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 3DE, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). By browsing the pages, downloading content that we make available, or sending an enquiry, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy and cookie policy. If you use the site for an employer, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms for that use.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page is the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. If a change is material, we will say so on this page rather than relying on silence.
2. What the site is — and is not
The guides are general information about vending machine categories, placement, payments, operations and care. They are not a substitute for a site survey, electrical design, food-hygiene advice, licensed refrigeration work, or a manufacturer’s manual. We do not claim to have tested every cabinet, verified retail prices, or certified any supplier. You remain responsible for complying with health and safety law, food law, data protection law for any customer-facing cameras or payments you operate, and any landlord rules that apply to your building.
Nothing on the site is an offer to sell machines, ingredients, payment terminals or maintenance contracts. An email conversation does not create a supply agreement until both parties sign or otherwise accept a written statement of work. Prices, if discussed later, will sit in that statement, not in these public pages.
3. User obligations
You agree to use the site lawfully. You must not attempt to break, overload or probe the service; scrape in a way that degrades availability; introduce malware; misrepresent your identity in an enquiry; or use the contact channels to send advertising to us or to harvest addresses. You must not use our content to build a competing dataset presented as original reporting if that use is a substitution for our pages.
If you submit a message, you confirm you have the right to send it, that it is not confidential unless we later sign a non-disclosure agreement, and that it does not contain unlawful material. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to process that message so we can reply and keep records. Do not send special-category data or anyone else’s personal data unless it is necessary and you have a lawful basis.
You must not rely on the maintenance guide as permission to work on sealed refrigeration systems, live electrical assemblies or other regulated tasks. Those tasks require competent, authorised people. If you ignore that warning, you do so at your own risk.
4. Intellectual property
The site name Reelradarpurepixls, the logo mark, layout, and the text of the guides are owned by Reelradarpurepixls Ltd or used under licence. You may view, bookmark and print pages for your own professional reference. You may not copy the guides wholesale into another commercial publication, remove attribution, or present our checklists as your product without written permission. Short quotations with a link back to the relevant page are acceptable in the way normal professional citation works.
Placeholder photographs are served from a third-party image utility and remain subject to that provider’s terms. Trademarks of other companies appear, if at all, only to identify categories of equipment; no endorsement is implied. If you believe content infringes your rights, write to [email protected] with a URL and a description of the work you own.
5. Availability
We aim to keep the site available but we do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free pages, or that the information is complete for your particular machine, site or jurisdiction. We may take the site down for maintenance, change URLs, or stop publishing a guide. Bookmarks can break. That is inconvenient; it is not a breach that attracts damages.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of data, indirect or consequential loss, and for decisions you take about buying, siting, stocking or repairing vending equipment after reading the guides. Our total liability arising out of your use of the public website, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to one hundred pounds sterling (£100). Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that English law does not allow to be limited.
If you enter a paid advisory contract with us, that contract’s liability clause will replace this paragraph for that work only. Until then, the website is provided “as is” and “as available”.
7. Indemnity
You will indemnify Reelradarpurepixls Ltd against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or content you send us that infringes someone else’s rights — except to the extent a court finds we caused the loss by our own fraud or negligence.
8. Termination
You may stop using the site at any time. We may suspend or block access, including by IP or by refusing emails, if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, if we must do so for law or security, or if we discontinue the publication. Clauses that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, liability, indemnity, governing law) remain in force after termination. We may also delete an enquiry thread when the retention period in the privacy policy expires.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes) arising out of them or out of the site are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your home courts, and we may also bring proceedings there.
Before filing a claim, you agree to email [email protected] with a short description of the issue and to allow thirty days for a reply, unless the matter is urgent injunctive relief. We prefer a precise complaint to a theatrical one.
10. General
If a court finds a clause unenforceable, the rest of the terms still apply. Our failure to enforce a right once is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights under these terms without our consent. We may assign them to a successor that takes over the website. These terms are the entire agreement for use of the public site and supersede earlier website terms. They do not create third-party rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
